Vans Women’s UltraRange VR3 Shoe

This season Vans® re-thought, re-engineered and rebuilt every little bit of the UltraRange to make it more sustainable. This includes a molded VR3Cush™ midsole, a lightweight construction, a VR3Waffle™ Rubber outsole, and a breathable upper designed to reduce waste in production compared to Vans®’ traditional cut and sew uppers. The UltraRange VR3 is the manifestation of an idea: that it is not where we are going, but how we get there. Vans® has set ambitious sustainability goals. Big or small, all efforts add up to positive change. To earn the VR3 Checkerboard globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made up of recycled, renewable, and/or regenerative materials.

• One piece knit upper made with 50% Organic Cotton, 36% Recycled PET, and 14% Recycled Nylon
• VR3Cush™ midsole made using at least 50% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plant-based sources per the ASTM D6866-16 testing standard
• All of the Rubber used to make the VR3Waffle™ outsole (60% of the compound) is regeneratively grown Natural Rubber sourced from farms utilizing agricultural practices that are intended to promote biodiversity, enhance water cycles, improve soil health, and/or sequester carbon; developed and engineered to maintain the grip and durability Vans® has been known for since ‘66
